John Dwyer of Thee Oh See’s has started another project under the name Damaged Bug. The Cali-based garage rockers have just released a video for “Jet In Jungle” just in time for their new album Cold Hot Plumbs, out June 1 via Castle Face. Cold Hot Plumbs will be the band’s sophomore album, following last year’s experimental, Hubba Hubba. S. Wadsworth Adams directed the paper mache filled animated adventure of a pilot jetting through a jungle to this very fun psychedelic indie rock track. Expect more synthesizers and driving to the beach tunes on this album, which is available to stream now via Pitchfork.
