We already brought you the news that Fear of Men will be releasing “Luna” from their new album as a flexidisc. The band has brought us a video for the song as well in the run up to both that single and their new album, Loom, out April 19th (record store day)/ April 21st on Kanine Records. The video is set in a very plain looking white room. It features plenty of gender related imagery, including a vase filled with blood, two men fighting, and lead singer Jess Weiss wearing a snake around her neck. The most striking image of all, though, is Weiss holding a bow while it is being pulled back by one of the male members of the band. It feels dangerous and is a very striking image. The video in general has a strong metaphorical theme. (Ed note: the video is an homage to Marina Abramovic’s Rest Energy and Dragonhead). It fits the aesthetic of the band quite well. Check it out below.
