The social media megaverse is currently abuzz with all things Haim. Yesterday, the LA-based sister act dropped a new video for “If I Could Change Your Mind” and a cover of Beyonce’s “XO” on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.

The video, in typical Haim fashion, is equal parts grunge and glamour. It’s no surprise either, since their musical inspirations range from Fleetwood Mac to Nirvana to En Vogue with shades of TLC-inspired crazy, sexy, coolness in between. To fit this vibe mash-up, Haim enlisted the help of director Warren Fu (who spearheaded the last two Daft Punk videos) and choreographer Fatima Robinson (known for her work with Aaliyah and, yes, the Backstreet Boys).

“If I Could Change Your Mind” isn’t the biggest track off Haim’s debut LP Days Are Gone — but this video could change that. The first few seconds greet us with silence before we find the trio standing on a dark, empty pedestal. The ‘90s dance moves that follow are awkwardly tongue-in-cheek and it’s all happening on a stage that looks like it was plucked from a sparkly 1972 episode of The Midnight Special. At this point, whatever the Haim sisters touch turns into a retro-inspired party — and the masses, including Angel Haze and Florence Welch, want in on the fun. Watch below.
