We’ve thought we had a handle on The Growlers‘ mystique in issue #3, but they’ve managed to send us reeling again with their grainy, VHS-inspired new video for “Chinese Fountain.” A little green-screen driving, matching white suits, and some unexpectedly personified forest rocks make for one strange buzz. And coupled with the infectious dance grooves of the title track to their last LP, this video will make you feel at once nostalgic and like you’re in the middle of an awesome yet terrifying Friday night freakout.
