We told you about “Rescue, Mister” earlier this month along with the announcement of Joyland, the second album from Toronto’s Robert Alfons, AKA Trust. There was a lot of excitement both for the song and the album. Alfons released a video for “Rescue, Mister” this week, and it is a perfect extension of the song. The Sabrina Ratte directed video relies on distorted and decaying colors to recreate the song’s retrograde aesthetic. Colors dance around in a impressive collage of spastic movement that often feels random, but also matches up very closely to the song. Watch below.
Joyland is out March 4th on Arts & Crafts.
