Creams’ pulsating dark pop is completely hypnotic. From the first electronic whispers on her latest track, “Sleep On Me”, the listener knows they’re in for a deeply captivating ride. In the accompanying video, the first visual of Creams we see is her swinging like a pendulum, hung by her feet, over what looks like a boxing ring. Her mesmerizing monotone brings you in, similar to that of Billie Eilish, but with a more twisted and electronic edge. Besides the earworm-y excellence of the track, Creams has also solidified herself as a total badass goddess in the video — leaning back over a high speed motorbike with ease, eye-catching fashion looks, praying mantis-like focus. Creams is definitely existing in her own universe, but wherever that is, I’d like to be there (for real, though, put me in a glass box and light it on fire please).
