Listening to Sub*T feels like reading the scrawled, inky, mess crammed in the margins of old notebooks. It’s nostalgic, personal, and familiar in a way that’s still refreshing. The bi-coastal duo’s latest single “Asterisk” is their strongest and catchiest work to date as well as their first with Fire Talk imprint, Open Tab.
Not satisfied with staying the mosh pit, Jade Alcantara and Grace Bennett went from attending shows together across the country to performing on stage at them. With fun-filled gigs from Brooklyn to SXSW and a fast-growing contingent of fans, global domination appears to be the next obvious step.
