Music Discovery is Everything: A Playlist by Dr. Now

Dr. Now is a physician of many artistic practices, including making music, performing, painting, and making playlists. We discovered the Doc at the most recent Party Girls Never Die show – Nothing’s Wrong – on Dec. 6 amongst the artworks within Tom Fruin’s studio. He cracked the night wide open with a blistering solo set — wild, rambunctious, and fully locked in. The room followed his lead. By the time he stepped off, the party was buzzing. You just … had to be there.

Last week Dr. Now displayed some of his paintings in The Come Up at Sade Gallery in Los Angeles. In celebration of the exhibition, Sade Gallery is hosting a special night this Thursday Jan. 22 with live sets with sets by Attachment, Dr. Now, Dorothy Fuzz, plus a DJ set by Cameron Michel (formerly Sextile). For the lucky bastards on the West Coast, this is Not To Be Missed.

In the meantime enjoy this Music Discovery is Everything Playlist from Dr. Now for your listening pleasure. You’re in for a treat.
