One of the best music videos I’ve seen this year, “To The Door” is Rocky Horror Picture Show meets John Waters. It’s absurd, campy, gory and beautiful. Beyond the great visuals the track from British band HMLTD is an anthemic rock tune until about half way through when “To The Door” switches in and out of a lo-fi garburator. As the song (and protagonist) meet their ends, “To The Door” disintegrates into shrieks and machine noise as the vocals become tense and strained yelling “Filth! Filth! Filth!” Watch below:
