we’re back and so is live music.
For the past couple of years, New York hasn’t really felt like New York. At least not to me. And same for the music scene. To be fair, not all my time has been spent in the city and the city has undoubtably changed in the past few years, but now in the sweltering heat, the chaotic pits of familiar faces at gigs, and the thrill of a new scene emerging, it feels like New York is truly back and in the best way. Here’s the best shows coming through town this month — hopefully we’ll run into each other at a few.
