Song Premiere: The Entire Universe “Can They Hear?”

The fatigue and loneliness brought on by the endless cycle of screen-staring and technology infatuation is not new fodder for our generation. The Entire Universe doesn’t have the magic pill, but they do have guitars and music that’s tender, nostalgic and sounds like a melting sun. Today we’re premiering “Can They Hear?” a new track from the Los Angeles trio (Jeffertitti Moon, Eric Lodwick and Evan Snyder).

The track which relates the disguised inertia of modern life (“In bed last night I was a queen / My love was on the silver screen / I wanted to believe she was here”) was recorded solely by Moon, co-produced with the members of Gardens & Villa, mixed by Chris Coady (Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) & mastered by Dave Cooley (Animal Collective, Blood Orange). Listen below!
