Remember when Fat Joe threw an epic house party in the Bronx for “Lean Back?” When Jay-Z showed us how kids lived in Bed-Stuy for “Hard Knock Life?” When Public Enemy exposed the racial divide in Brooklyn with their civil rights anthem, “Fight the Power”? We do too, which is why we are thrilled about Cam’ron and A-Trak’s new video for “Dipshits.” The power duo have resurrected the art that goes into a great music video and are reppin’ the city where hip hop began for their upcoming EP, Federal Reserve.

Filmed in Cam’ron’s hometown of Harlem, and joined by the rest of the Diplomats crew (Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Dame Dash), the pair have brought the music video back to the streets of NY with the hip hop song of the summer. And can we just say, we missed you. “Dipshits” doesn’t miss a beat as its filled with quintessential hip hop music video flare. What is better than scenes that illustrate the diversity of Harlem, a hip hop catch phrase to use in any situation and Cam’ron’s fiancée, JuJu, looking hot as hell? Not much.
